Technically melodic death metal in perfect, it not short, form. Definitely a step up from Revenant. This EP is incredibly intense and super heavy, but doesn't sacrifice any melody in order to obtain that heaviness. The soul-crushing weight is only enhanced by the tortured and epic melodies. An excellent EP indeed! jeff8502

Very well-balanced indeed. Everything here screams talent and professionalism, from the music to the production. Technical without showing off, brutal without sacrificing musicality... This is a great record. Nekobibu

Top-notch tech death. Extremely clean (maybe too clean for some?), excellent songwriting. Lots of gripping atmospheres too. The Japanese folklore theme even adds a little something. Highly recommended. Nekobibu
On their self-titled debut, Bhavachakra make black metal, flamenco guitar, and Liszt-like piano passages collide. Bandcamp Album of the Day Oct 17, 2016

True talent! I assume not quantized but I don’t care. This is one of the best technical and progressive metal albums ever.
Very carefully recorded - really fun to listen to this attention to detail.
Only difficulty I have with it is turning it off! imprint
